What I miss most about Great Aunt Lois was her soft-spoken demeanor. She was a pleasant soul who always had time with which to visit me. She shared her experiences at Crystal Lake in Ellington, where her parents rented a summer cottage and where she and my Uncle Arthur spent their first year of marriage. It was such fun hearing her recall the days when the Crystal Lake area was quite the place for all sorts of entertainment - from rolling skating to dancing in the grand ballroom. As my...
