MACKENZIE, Lois M. Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, Lois Elizabeth Matthews MacKenzie, wife of Donald Stuart MacKenzie, Sr. of Charleston, SC. She was born in Hayne, NC a daughter of Preston Matthews and Elizabeth Brock Matthews on Tuesday, August 17, 1926. Mrs. MacKenzie was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a Past President of the Riverland Terrace Garden Club and a Past President of the U.S. Coast Guard Officer's Wive's Club. Surviving are her husband: Donald S. MacKenzie, Sr. of Charleston; a daughter: Deborah M. Copleston of Charleston, a son: Donald S. MacKenzie, Jr. of Moncks Corner and four grandchildren. Funeral Services and Entombment will be Private. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association , PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058 Arrangements by JAMES A. MCALISTER, INC. 1620 SAVANNAH HWY. 766-1365.
