Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Maroon; Dear mother of Gary (Suzanne Morganti) Maroon and David (Tamara) Maroon; Loving grandmother of Wendy, Michael, Dustin, Elizabeth and Christopher; Great-grandmother of 6; Sister of Margaret, Ellen, Frances and Mildred; Sister of the late William and Wallace Purtle. Dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Services: Memorial service at Community Christian Church, 623 Meramec Station Road, Manchester, Saturday, 11:00 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Community Christian Church of Manchester, MO or The Lupus Research Institute (www.lupusresearchinstitute.org). Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday 6-9 p.m. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.
I will miss Lois very much. She was a dear friend at the church and since we were retired nurses, we had a special friendship. She always had a smile and baked cookies for the workers at our sales, even though she wasn't very well physically. She was a great lady!!
