Not sure what to say?

You will have a difficult Mother's Day this year remembering all the things your mother has been to you. I pray you find the peace that passes all understanding and know that others care.

I worked with Lois many years ago at The Press. She was indeed a classy lady, and very kind and welcoming to a newcomer. I will always remember her smile, wit and generosity.

Dear Chris and Lisa,

I was so sorry to hear about your mom's death. She was a phenomenal woman and such a dear, dear friend to our mom, Mary Boylon. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Lisa,I remember years ago when your mom would come to the office, always so kind and how beautiful she was. May God grant you and your family peace.

Dear Chris, Lisa and Charlie, I remember how fondly my parents talked about your mom/mother-in-law. She surely was "one classy dame." When I was a teenager and later a young woman in Grand Rapids I thought she was the empitome of glamour. I will print out the obituary from the paper and send it to my mother. She will be sad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Fondly,

While I had not seen Lois in several years, I remember her as a truly remarkable lady. I worked for her over the course of many years as a model for the Press, and came to really enjoy being with her. She epitomized graciousness and class. She had an unerring sense of fashion, and shared her gift with our community. Lois was a warm, delightful person I will never forget. My condolences to her children for their loss.

Chris, Charlie & Lisa,

I remember seeing Lois's columns and photo in the Press when I was a young girl, never expecting that my brother would marry her daughter. I know she has been an important influence in your lives & that you loved her very much.

We wish we could be with you on this sad day.

Love, Laurie, Mark and Lisa

Our thoughts are with the family. Lois was a unique treat.

Lois McIntyre will be missed. She was a generous, hard working lady (in the true sense of the word) who loved her family very much. Chris & I gave her lots of "grief" as teenagers. She was a wonderful mother and friend
