I met Mrs. Merriweather during BCS Parent Engagement Program. She always greeted us with a smile and used her hand clappers during the program. She made all of the parents feel loved and appreciated. I am grateful to have met such a wonderful person.

Long after my daughter graduated from college, whenever I would see Mrs.Merriweather she would...

I would like to extend my condolences and prayers to the Merriweather family. Mrs. Merriweather was my second-grade teacher at Jonesboro Elementary (1990-1991), and she was the true epitome of an exceptional educator. She made my transition from private school to public school seamless and left a lasting impact on my life—one that I will never forget. Mrs. Merriweather went above and beyond to teach her students not only academics but also the importance of character, discipline, and...
