As a child, I thought that Lois was my Mom's "cool" cousin who allowed her children to have all those awesome pets and hosted wonderful, fun picnics that ended with sparklers and fireworks. As an adult, I grew to appreciate her sharp wit and her sense of humor. You only had to look into her eyes to know that she was pulling your leg about something.
