As always, when someone is heavily on your mind, you should contact them. I have been thinking about Mrs. Oliver during these last few months. Today I decided to google her name because I felt in my spirit she had passed.

I really enjoyed her friendship. She always had encouraging words for me and we always discuss the Bible. She was such a wise women and a strong women. I learned so much from her. The last visit I had with Mrs. Oliver, we colored together. It was such a...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Oliver family. Just heard the news. Have known the family for years. Once live next door to the Cavers on 10th Street, PC., for many years. The Allen & Thessalonia Jones family were very close friends and neighbors. Talked with Lois a few years ago and have special memories of our conversation. She will be missed.

Best Grandmother ever

My heart breaks because I can't be there but you are always in my heart. Thank you for being the perfect example of what a Mother, Wife and devoted woman of God should be. I'm truly blessed that God chose me to be your Granddaughter. You have truly been the light in so many of my dark days, with that beautiful smile and that gentle spirit. Kiss Grandad for me. Love you both and thanks for being phenomenal grandparents. You are now reunited with your Love.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. Hold tight to memories for comfort.

The best way to honor someone who is not with us anymore is to continue living our life and keep their memory alive through everyday events. Mrs. Lois Oliver would have wanted that and expected nothing less from you.

My condolences to you and family. Continue prayers for you and your family. Love you, Cynthia Pollard-Lowery
