LOIS CARLETTA ORELUP (NEE WHISLER) MERRILLVILLE, IN Lois Carletta Orelup (nee Whisler), age 90, of Merrillville, currently resided at St. Anthony Nursing Home, passed away at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point on Monday, February 18, 2013. Lois is survived by her children: Bernard C. (Barbara) Orelup, Jr., Susan (Larry) Wikman, and Rick (Michaeleen) Orelup; grandchildren: Bernie (Katie) Orelup, Bob (Kim) Orelup, Jim (Kerry Bender) Berdine, Melissa (Mick) Casler, Richard (Jenelle) Orelup, and Matthew Orelup; great grandchildren: Ally, Owen and Emery Orelup, Josh and Max Orelup, Karly, Jake and Noah Casler, and Khaleesi Orelup; brothers: Bob, Bill, Donald, Larry, and Jerry Whisler; sister, Carol Morris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard C. Orelup, Sr.; parents: Carl and Mable Whisler; brother, Dillon; sisters: Darlene, Hattie, Jo, and Barbara. Lois' greatest joy was watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services, Merrillville with Deacon Brian Nosbusch officiating. Interment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Please omit all flowers and consider a donation in Lois' name to St. Anthony Nursing Home in Crown Point. Susie, Bernie, and Ricky.... I didn´t know your mom had passed away. Sorry. My sisters, Shirley and Rose are both passed away. We had some good times at our pool! I live in Pingree Grove, IL now.
