Not sure what to say?

I just found this notice and also remember Lois as my favorite teacher at Fannin Elementary in 4th grade 1970. Diagramming sentences intrigued me and I am grateful for her instructions. The world was blessed to have her!

We will miss Aunt Lois dearly, and miss the times we'd all be together for Thanksgiving Dinner and other family events.

Mrs. Pace was a one of a kind teacher. I had her as my 6th grade teacher at Fannin Elementary in 1972-73. She made learning fun and interesting.

I recently found a class picture of my oldest daughter in the third grade at Fannin Elementary School in Grand Prairie and Mrs. Pace was her teacher. She was the best teacher any one could ask for and my daughter just loved her. RIP Mrs. Pace, you will never be forgotten.

Everyone has had that one teacher....that one special teacher that stood out more than the rest. That one special teacher that made school fun! That one special teacher that made each student feel SPECIAL...This lady here, Lois Pace was mine. Been many many years since she was my teacher; however she made a life long impact in my life. I have shared many stories about here with my kids and grand kids. I feel honored to have known her and been her student. The world has lost a great lady!

I, to this day, make the candy that you taught us to make when we studied Argentina. I remember well the day that we got to go outside and throw bolos like the cowboys in Argentina. We ate empanadas, which you made, for lunch. The girls made fudge and the boys made my favorite butterscotch drops with chow mein noodles and peanuts.

Dear Harold and Family,
I am sorry to learn of the loss of your mom; I treasure the time both your mom and dad spent talking with me back when we were just a couple of teenagers bent on conquering the world. Both your mom and dad played a role in making me a better person though I never shared this with either of them, I would be remiss if I failed to share this with you during this time of grief.
Take care my friend; my thoughts and prayers will be with you and your...
