Not sure what to say?

Lois and Bert were both committed to the fight for handicapped children. They fought well. I loved them both for it. Lois will be much missed by all of us.

I was so saddened to learn of Lois' passing. As a University City High School, Class of 1949, classmate, I remember her as a lovely person who was generous in everything she undertook. She and Craig Walt, another classmate and friend, were the "go-to" people when we planned our reunions. Lois and Craig used their artistic abilities to create the decorations and table centerpieces for each one of our reunions, which were always unique and memorable. Lois seldom missed any of our reunion...

My deepest sympathies to Lois' family. I met her only a few times, but daily my life is touched my her advocacy as I connect with families and friends I have met through the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis. I will always be thankful for those key connections in those early years, and continue to cherish them as my daughter enters adulthood. Lois and Bert were a blessing to many.

Thanks from the thousands of people who have been supported by the DSA these many years. Our lives have been enriched because of Lois.

My deepest sympathy on your loss. Lois (and Bert) were among the nicest people I knew. In fact, Bert was in my wedding party and I met Lois at my dental office when they became patients. I always looked forward to their visits as they always had such a positive attitude.

I am sorry to hear about Lois' passing. I knew her through the Parkinson's Exercise class that I led for many years! Lois was a gem! We loved her in the group....she was always there and cheerful and had a positive outlook that was infectious! I know that she will be missed by many people! My thoughts are with the family in this time of sorrow, but know that she touched alot of people! Jeanenne Dallas, OT in St Louis

So sorry to hear of Lois' passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

A high school classmate, Lois was as sweet and gentle a person as one could ever know.. I hope the memories of her goodness and kindness will ease the pain of her loss to her family and friends. Most sincerely, Jack Schramm (Alexandria, VA)
