Not sure what to say?

I can honestly say she was one of the best teachers I had in my high school years. Miss Wastler was my coach for CHS Varsity Basketball and she was everything a coach should be! Miss Wastler treated everyone with respect and you could tell she wished the best for us all! My sincere sympathies to her family.

What a great coach. She made me feel accepted in a new school. I still have the charm she gave me when I graduated. What a good person to have had in my life. RIP

I new Lois, her brother Wayne is my brother in law.I remember her as a good teacher.

She was my phys ed teacher at Emmitsburg High. Such a great person and l never saw her miss a shot when she played basketball with us. Such a great loss, she'll be missed. Shirley Freshman

To say that Lois made an impact on my life would be an understatement. She was my teacher, coach, friend, mentor and bonus "Mom" from the time l was 16 years old. The wonderful memories of her will last me the rest of my days. Most of all she taught me life's lessons and laid a foundation with caring, strength, truth, tenacity, humility, empathy, humor, love and common sense that enhanced my life from the day l met her. I am grateful for the times we had and hope l have made her proud. She is...

I had the pleasure of having her as my gymn teacher and sports coach . Her energy was contagious and my years at Catoctin were enjoyed by having her every day . What a lively lovely woman .

So glad to have known Lois. Diane & I took tennis lessons with her. We knew the whole family growing up and send our sympathy to the remaining family members.

I played basketball with Lois or Little Lois as we called her at Frostburg in the 60’s. I have always wondered where she turned up. It sounds like she had a wonderful life.

As a 1963 of Thurmont High School. Lois was little at that time, but she was good in sports. I wasn't in her academic classes but knew she was smart. I am sorry she is gone from earth and in heaven. Bless Wayne, Bonnie and Edith for your loss.
