I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Lois, you have my deepest sympathy and prayers for the Lord to give you peace and comfort. I admired her very much.

Aunt Lois holds a special place in my heart. Her laughter and fun spirit is so infectious. I remember one of her visits to Arizona and going for a walk with her around the neighborhood. She found some petunias and thought they were so beautiful. She leaned down to smell them and came up sputtering saying “those are the stinkiest flowers I have ever smelled”. She was a light that couldn't be hidden from the world. I find peace with the notion that she is now sharing stories with her Lord and Savior and I am sure she will get a "well done my good and faithful servant" from him come judgement day.
She always laughed at my jokes. . . even when I was pretty sure she didn't "get" them.
Aunt Lois is also the reason I add brown sugar to just about everything I cook. I don't remember or know why but it sure makes it taste good.
