Lois Ryan Wright, 95, died Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Falkville Health Care. She was born February 17, 1917, in Morgan County to Charles Huston Ryan and Frances Johnson Ryan. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Meldon Eugene Wright; son, Truman Wright; daughter, Shirley Carr; granddaughter, Janie Wright; son-in-law, Howard Brasher; daughter- in-law, Marie Wright; five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Eaton officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include three sons, James Wright and Charles Wright, both of Indiana and Raymond Wright of California; three daughters, Elizabeth Brasher of Hartselle, Mary Hobbs and Kathy Enis, both of Washington; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Jeff Wright, Greg Brasher, Jimmie Wright, Bret Wright, Brian Adams and Jake Wright.
