Lola was a friend of my mother's when mom lived in SF in the late 30's and early 40's and then continued the friendship throughout the years. I was recently going through mom's letters and found letters Lola had written to mom as well as pictures of Lola and their gang. I had hoped to get them to the Casci girls so they could read them to Lola. I'm sorry I didn't make it in time. She would have gotten a kick out of them I'm sure. She was a firecracker and I'm sure she would love this picture....
