July 22, 2014 Lola Mae Vines, 93, lived a beautiful life and went home to Glory July 22, surrounded by her family. Our loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother will be dearly missed for her sweet smile, cooking and loving heart that will never be forgotten. She was a loving friend to many. She was a lifetime member of Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Vines was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Vines, three sisters and four brothers. She is survived by sons, Larry Vines and Terrell (Elaine); daughter, Sherry (Don) Colburn; daughter-in-law, Rynthia Vines; grandchildren, Kelly (Corkey) McFarland, Shelly (Bruce) Hornstein, Shane Vines, Heath (Nancy) Vines, Terri (Hank) Bolton, Amber Carpenter and Laci Colburn; great grandchildren, Logan (Amanda), Landon, Payton, Landon, Lauryn, Ethan, Amanda, Cody, Jesse, Cabel, Morgan, Bailey, Laurel, Will, Eddie, Terrell Anne, Ryan, Colton, and Walker; great great granddaughter, Brynnlee; sister, Wynelle Nicholson; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and church family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2139 Cumberland Road, Bessemer. Burial will be at Southcrest Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Bro. Don English and Bro. Scott Edwards will be officiating. Sherry, Don & Family so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know in time to pay my respects. I am sorry. She had a good long life and I pray God will comfort all of you. All of you are in my prayer and thoughts.

I am so honored to have met means and spend slot of time talking . I am glad my girls loved her and she would have the kidz snacks.they love to swing and talk with her .she was one in a million l am very lucky to know and loved her .my prayers are with all of you
