A photo that I took of Lon in Vietnam. 1971

Lon and Elaine have had a big impact on our lives. We also knew him in the Young Single adult branch in Pasco. He set us up on our first date which we attended a Valentines dance in Basin City that his band was playing at. We were soon married in June. Because of Lon getting us together we have 5 daughters and 23 grandkids. We will always be grateful for his impression that brought us together. Lon and Elaine has always had a soft spot in our hearts. Love to all the family Casey and...

Lon lived a full, exemplary life and is a hero to many. Every interaction I had with him was always uplifting. His influence is felt all over the world and will endure for generations. I love how a family member said he was fiercely loving and loyal to his loved ones, friends, and religion. Let´s do as he would do and with our families turn to our Heavenly Father in faith and trust in both good times and hard times knowing and believing that He will take care of us as we press forward in life...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

His smile and warmth were a welcoming site that you could always count on being there. We was a gem of a guy and will be missed by all.

RIP Lon. Your smile was always welcoming. You will be greatly missed.

I am grateful for Lon's warm, friendly personality and his ever-present smile. I miss him and offer my condolences to his family.

Our love to Elaine and family. We first met Lon at the Pasco Young Adult branch where he served as 2nd counselor in the Branch Presidency. Lon always knew how to make everyone feel important. His graduation is a loss to our community. How nice for you to know he´ll have the way all prepared for you when the time is right.

I was so shocked to hear of Lon's passing. I send my deepest condolences to your family. He was defiantly one of my favorite people ever!!!
