Long was a wonderful friend and classmate. We talked about our grandkids. She loved her family dearly

Lona was a wonderful classmate and friend. We often talked about taking care of our grandkids. She helped where she could and did a lot of volunteer work in Eureka

I met Lona when she came to work at the American News. We became fast friends and enjoyed hanging out and going to the `turkey shoots´ in the small towns. We had so much fun and she lived life to the fullest. My son was the ringbearer in her wedding. She was a wonderful and kind human being and would do anything for anyone. She will be missed by so many. Love and prayers for her family. Carla Ronning
