So sorry for your loss Gail, and family. Praying the Lord gives you, and your family that peace, and comfort that you need in the days ahead.

My deepest sympathy to the family! I coached against Lonnie and his great teams back in the day while he was a Cedar Springs. Great guy-great memories!

I was so sad to hear of Lonnie's passing. I know how much he loved his wife, his kids, his grand kids, his church, and his wrestling community. I had the honor of coaching with Lonnie the last 2 years at the middle school and I am so grateful for our time together. He not only put his all into coaching and investing in the kids, but he also made a big impact on me and the other coaches. His words were intentional and thoughtful, and he always went above and beyond. We all are better for...

To some, You may have been Dad, to some you may have been Lonnie, but to thousands of lucky wrestlers in Michigan, you will forever be known as Coach! You will definitely be missed.
