Ernie's fishing hole

There are so many wonderful things to say about Mr. Ernie Duncan.
He exuded so many great qualities.
He was truly someone that I quickly admired, respected and he was always a shining example of what true compassion for his fellow man meant.
Although Ernie lived a life of privilege and wealth, he never forgot how he got there. He carried himself as a common man with only the best intentions and desires for those he called family, friend, employee or stranger.
I ran...

Holidays are joyful....family gathers together and celebrate the birth and life of our Savior Jesus Christ. Our faith in Him brings hope through the Plan of Salvation. We are thinking of Ernie and Kimberlee...their love, their eternal covenants in the temple, their faith in Christ and their wonderful example of charity. This Christmas you are just a veil away.... and in our hearts forever! We are sharing the burden of sorrow in losing you in our mortal life KNOWING with unshakable faith...

Thinking of you today, Mr. D! We miss you here on earth, but know you are in paradise without pain and only peace and happiness. The love you and Kimberlee shared was an inspiration. LOVE - Katie Flores, St. Jude Memorial Foundation

It was with delight that I saw Kim transformed upon her marriage to Ernie... She had Finally found the happiness she so deserved! What a blessing they were to each other for the few years they were together. I'll never forget Ernie!
With love,
Wendy Arrington Postil

Happy Birthday Ernie,
You are forever our BFF and are missed and remembered with love and Thanksgiving.
Rest in Peace.

It is with great sadness that I write this reflection about Mr. Duncan. I often worked with Mr. and Mrs Duncan during their many visits to The Home Depot of La Habra. Mr. Duncan never once demonstrated that he was fighting cancer. To the contrary, he would come into the store filled with joy and enthusiasm, always excited about the progress he and Mrs. Duncan were making with the remodel of their home. Often times, our conversations led to fishing in Alaska, or his love of golf.
I...

It's been an honor for me to have known Ernie these past few years. Always a gentleman, Ernie was a good example to those around him. His hope and faith in Jesus Christ was unquestionable. Ernie is one of those people who I'm certainly looking forward to seeing when I make it to the other side. You'll be missed, Ernie, but fortunately it will only be for a short while, my friend!

I was privileged to meet Ernie January 2014. His smile said it all...he loved life, he loved his dear wife, he had great faith and I was privileged to learn and grow together with him and Kimberlee as we shared a desire to learn and progress. We shared our testimony and love of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I saw miracles happen as he was given strength to make sacred covenants that will bless his life throughout all eternity. I have been blessed to know you and will remember your...
