Dear Debbie,
I am so sorry to hear the news about Lonnie. He was a great friend to Highland Haven (as were you) for many, many years--only us old-timers really know! But that is so true of life.
All veterans are great Americans, only those who served as did Lonnie truly know. God will accept him home with great love and tenderness.
Peace be to you and your family,
Tony Sherman

Debbie,
I am so sorry to hear of Lonnie's passing. He was a fine man. He came to Califoria to move me and my young son back to Virginia. I can still see him with my son on his shoulder, he carried him in and out of every stop we made all the way across the country. Bryce was recovering from broken bones and Lonnie was wonderful with him. He was a great friend to my Dad, as I am sure many others. I won't forget his humor and big smile. The world has lost a truly great man. Much sympathy...

Debbie,

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
