I met Lonnie when I was an exchange student in the early 80s living with his daughter Terry and her husband John and have fond memories of him.
I am sad to hear he passed away, but reading the obituary makes me happy about the life he lived.
Rest in peace Lonnie.

Terry...I loved your Mom and Dad -- and especially you. My fondest memories are of you teaching me tap and gymnastics -- and how to build a dam in the gutter. I never read the paper and picked it up yesterday and it opened to the notice about your dad. What great parents you had!
