Not sure what to say?

Lonnie, my friend, I still can't believe that you have left us! Not a day goes by when I don't think of you.
You were always there for me, through thick and thin. And for anyone else who needed anything. I don't know what we are going to do without you.
We had so many good times, especially traveling. To the Coast, to "The Big House", to New York City, and to Europe. Near the end you told me that you had had a good life and that you gotten to go to most of the places that you...

We're so sorry for your loss, Darice
& Russ. Our thoughts and prayers
are with you. Love, Teresa, Connor
and Evan

Goodbye, good man. So sorry you had to leave so soon. I was glad to hear you had peace to pass with and that your loved ones were with you. You always made me smile.

Well I could tell lots of stories about Lonnie he was a heck of a kid he always loved to bug his older sister Gloria and I and always wanted to play with us. Although we did dress him up a few times.. My thoughts are with you Russ and Darice..I know you will remember me Russ.. The long and lanky girl that lived up the street. I am so sorry for the the early exit of life your brother has endured. He will have a eternal life

Janell Hakanson (Gloria's Best Friend in grade school.)

My heart goes out to you at this time for your loss.

Sending all our symphony and love to you.

My deepest sympathy to Russ and Darice. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My heart was so sad to hear that Lonnie had passed away. I attended school with Lonnie from Jr. High through High School. He was always smiling and a kind soul. The Bible says that life is like a "breath" here on earth...it goes so quickly. Lonnie has now entered into Eternity...I pray that he is now enjoying the true meaning of peace and joy in the presence of God. I send my deepest sympathy to those friends that are left behind. He will be remembered fondly.

Lonnie in front of Knott St Elementary, circa early 70's

I’m very saddened to read about Lonnie's premature passing. Lonnie and I were childhood friends and had many fun times. Although Lonnie was one year older, we attended Knott Street Elementary, Heights Junior High and Parkrose High school. On my daily walk to Knott St School I would pass by Lonnie’s home on 117th, where we eventually met and became friends. Lonnie seemed to always be happy and filled with energy. Some of my fondest memories with Lonnie are the extended trips on my...
