Myricks, Lonnie, Sr. Age 70, passed away October 11, 2011. Resident of Gary and Merrillville for past 42 years. He was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church where he served on Usher Board #1 and was a member of the Mens Adult Sunday School Class. He retired from Inland Steel with 27 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Rosa Myricks; sisters, Effie Mae Gordon, Juanita Riggins and Jessie Humphrey; brothers, Eddie Lee Myricks and Lennell Myricks. He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife, A. Ann Myricks; sons, Lonnie (Sherry) Myricks, Curtis Myricks and DeUndrea (Leland) Myricks; daughter, Yolanda Myricks Johnson; sister, Dorothy (Leroy) Gordon; brother, Edward (Robin) Myricks; brother, Isaac Myricks; 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 sisters in law; 2 brothers in law. Viewing and Funeral Service will be Monday October 17, 2011 at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church 1741 Fillmore Street Gary, Indiana Viewing will be 9:00AM-11:00AM. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00AM. Rev. Isaac Culver, Sr. Officiant. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
