Not sure what to say?

This is to the family of Dr Lonnie Sission,
My condolences go out to the family. Sorry I
just learned of your loss. I was a very good
friend of his as well as a long time patient
when he was still practicing.

Dr Sisson was a wonderful optometrist and held great conversations with you when you had your eyes examine. He would remember a lot about your family history! I enjoyed our conversations during my appointments with him. Before he retired, he made sure your eyes were taken care of by another wonderful Optometrist!

Dear Mrs. Sisson,
I understand you grief and I send you and your family my most heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your dear husband. You were so fortunate to have each other for so long.
Sincerely,
Kim Sedway

I first met Lonnie in the 70s when I was in my early 20s and active in local politics. I had lived my life in Las Vegas and it was during the time I met Lonnie that I really began to learn about our black community. Through the likes of truly wonderful, generous, sophisticated, dedicated hard working folks like Lonnie and his wife , "Miss Marge" Elliott, Bob and Orangia Mullen and countless others who toiled as black folk to raise their kids right, work hard and seek inclusion I was made...

Dr. Sisson was truly a man to be admired.
Condolences to his family.
