Not sure what to say?

Ted, Rust family and Rainy's family,

We were so sorry to hear that Rainy died. In the few visits we have had with her, we felt the presence of a very warm, kind and special person.
We're holding you in our tender thoughts.

Phoebe and Joe

Dear Ted,
All the Antrims are so sorry to hear that Rainy has died. She was a bright happy person whose voice I can hear in my mind's ear as we sat in white sunshine as the kids played croquet at Irvington. I can see her beautiful inviting face with her kind eyes and crooked smile. She brought joy to our family and helped Betty and Bud be happy together.
We are sending you love and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Tighe and Hugh Antrim

Dear Family of Ted & Rainy:

Peggy and I are so saddened to learn, only today, that Rainy's brave fight has ended. Hopefully, she is at peace and in greater comfort.

Rainy was my mentor at UC Berkeley's Student Learning Center in the late 1980's. I remember her beaming smile, wonderful sense of humor, and complete selflessness when it came to helping students. She gave me a job as a tutor when I needed it most, and nurtured me through several promotions which eventually led to a career position. I'm saddened to hear that she passed, but her memory will live on in the minds of hundreds if not thousands of grateful Berkeley students.

It was great to see Rainy at our 50th reunion. She was her usual smiling and welcoming self. My prayers are with her family.

Dear Morey Family,
Am saddened to hear of Rainy's death. Fortunately her Sem friends saw her last summer at our 50th reunion. I also saw her enjoying the beach at your Canadian home. She was very brave with her struggle and now at least is free from pain.
My thoughts are with you.

Rainy was a classmate and friend of mine at Sem in Buffalo. I always admired her for her intellignece and sensiblity. I send my sympathy to all of her family

We met in 5th grade. I last saw her in June at our 50th Sem reunion. Rainy always set a high standard for herself, a standard that was respected and influenced others. Always a most remarkable woman!!!

To all of Rainy's family...the Rusts and the Moreys I am so sorry. I am sure it has been 45 years since I last saw her but have never forgotten her or her sisters.
