I worked with Butch, his Dad Loran and his Uncle Jerry in downtown Fresno over 30 years ago. A recent high school reunion caused me to search for fellow grads. After the reunion I decided to search elsewhere for old pals in the various places I once lived. I knew Butch when I was 30 and he was 18. He had a maturity that belied his years back then. He was also a good and reliable buddy. I couldn't have imagined at that time that he would have a future law enforcement career but it makes sense....
