Not sure what to say?

I miss that smile so full of love and caring. My first friend and sister when I moved to Phoenix. Also Mickey and my introduction to a new Ward are dear to my heart. At 93 I am sure we will eventually meet again but not yet.

Although we did not know you well, we did know your son, Bruce and his sweet wife very well. You raised a wonderful son who has blessed so many lives. We honor you for that, and express our sympathies to your family and loved ones. You must have been an elect lady to have raised such a wonderful family.
Much love,
Jeff and Linda Pickles

You will always be in our hearts Mrs. Whiting.

I have known LORANA since I was in the first grade. My father Jim Gotcher was Micky's right hand man at KAIBAB, so we have been close friends for over 64 years. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a lot of time with her over the years, her sister Ina's little boy was the ring bearer at my wedding, I used to babysit Barry imagine that!, I was her Hairdresser at the KON TIKI Hotel for several years when I was 18 years old. Both the Whiting's and the Gotcher's took numerous trips...

Lorana and Peggy 2015 luncheon with Gotcher family

Our friendship began when I was welcomed to Phoenix in 1994 by Lorana at my new home in Arcadia. Welcomed and invited to this Ward to continue my Church work and occasional visits and luncheons added to socials which engaged me to further Ward friendships. After moving I looked forward to our Christmas card exchanges to see what she and Mickey had done that year. Thank you beautiful lady . Rest until you are again joined with your loved ones.

I met and worked with Lorena when we were both Stake YW Pres. Her in Scottsdale Stake and I in Phoenix East. I appreciated her so much. Her sweet smile and go-go attitude. Later renewed that friendship when she would attend our ward in Payson while visiting her boys. She will be greatly missed. May God help all the family at this time.
