Not sure what to say?

Lorelei was a lot of fun with a great sense of humor; very very smart; and always seemed to be looking to the next adventure... I will miss her.

I am deeply saddened and stunned to have learned today of Lorelei's passing. I have known ad respected her as a mycologist, a friend, and as the Editor of Mycotaxon for many years, and have depended on her wisdom and kind counsel. I was aware of her health problems, and am heartened that she survived for many more years than she seemed to have been expecting when we were last in touch. She will be much missed. She was a bright-shining jewel.

A favorite cousin, a delightful, intelligent, enthusiastic, and highly loveable friend. I will miss her whenever an interesting, new fact or scientific finding comes to light - and I´ll not hear her thoughts about it. My heartfelt condolences to her children and their families. I´m sure she and Todd gave you many memories to recall and smile again as you think of them. RIP Lorelei. Cousin Johnny

I´m so sorry to hear of Lorelei´s passing. Our whole family enjoyed seeing her at the family reunion. All our love to Forrest, Owen, Ronecca and Todd. Laurie Lehwalder Higgins, Dennis Higgins, Derek/Jenna and kids, Will/Liz and kids, and Sydney and Austin.

So sorry to hear this sad news. It was a pleasure to have met Lorelei - such a kind, fun person who had such a deep respect and love for wildlife. I enjoyed hearing from her over the past few years. My deepest sympathy for your family.

Dear Family and Friends of Lorelei Lehwalder Norvell Although our Weleber family members, Carolyn Weleber (cousin), Misha Weleber, Sasha Weleber, Richard Weleber, MD, were unable to attend the Open House today, we extend our deepest sympathies to Forrest Norvell, Owen Norvell (Ronecca) and all friends who knew and loved Lorelei. Since I, Carolyn Weleber, have known Lorelei since I was 5 years old and she was three, we have many enduring memories that will help to sustain us. Sent With Our...
