My deepest condolences to Shirley and to Loren's family. He was truly "an officer and a gentleman" who served his country in three wars and always remembered today's brave military men and women who continue to defend the cause of freedom. I was honored to attend Loren and Shirley's wedding. Later Loren and I served our Amaranth Court as Royal Patron and Royal Matron; I could always rely on him and Shirley for a helping hand with whatever needed to be done.
