I knew Lorne as Patrick Bowen growing up in the same Downey neighborhood & knew his story. although we went to different High Schools he went to the Pius X we "hung out" after school and weekends. Loved his grandparents Ding and Tau, and his aunt Doreen in Pasadena, she would bring us food and drink as we camped out on the side walk reserving spaces for the Rose Parade, overnight keeping intruders and drunks away.
