Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Uncle Gene teasing me as a little girl, telling me "what a pretty little boy I was" and I will never forget the silly photo he carried around of a toothless woman and bragged to strangers that it was his beautiful wife!
Gene will be remembered by all that had the pleasure of being a part of his life as a good hearted funny man. Sorry we couldn't be there!

All my love and prayers are with you Aunt Donna!

Uncle Gene,

We could not have asked for a better uncle. You always brought joy and laughter in our family.

We will miss you terribly but know that now you are in the arms of Jesus and are thankful you were always true in your faith with Him.

Dad grieves our loss but was always proud of you and admired his little brother. He will miss your brotherly bond.

We will all be together again.

In His grip.

Randy & Cindy Miller

Gene will be missed by all who knew him.

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this. Gene was my uncle and a very good man. Even as a young boy, I remember we could count on him to make us all laugh. I regret that we cannot attend the funeral as my own parents (Ermul & Patricia Miller) are in poor health and need alot of care. I cannot begin tell you how much my father is grieving for the loss of Gene. He loved him with all his heart and is so sad that he is unable to attend the funeral. From all of us, rest in peace...

Gene added such a sense of fun to everything he did. I remember one day when he was marshaling -- it was right after the club had started a "tuck your shirttails in" rule - to the chagrin of many members. My foursome came upon him on the second teebox, shirtless. We went running up to him and said, "Gene, what's wrong? Where's your shirt?" He looked up and said, "I couldn't keep the darn thing tucked in" -- and of course then laughed that great laugh. He got us. I am sure heaven is a lot...

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Gene has been much on my mind lately. One should always call when that occurs. I waited too long. RIP Gene. Maybe now you can slow down a little.
