I wish my condolences to Lorens family. He spoke often about his family, his business, his life as a Veteran , his children, and spending long nights in the barn inventing electronic devices. He credited an older man about learning electronics in the service. Loren said, " I listened to him and learned a lot". He always had good things to say about all of them. I met Loren during his visits to UCSD´s Comparative Cardiovascular Physiology lab, in connection with the development of ultrasonic Doppler flowmeters, which he commercialized.

My condolences to the family. Loren was such an amazing supporter to so many nonprofits doing helping the community and I can't thank him enough for his support!

Loren loved the opera and the symphony. He traveled the world to enjoy great music. You are missed my friend.
