I've known Loren since our days at Hilltop Elementary School. Memories of time spent together, especially on the principal's bench in High School, remain strong. Loren and I enjoyed being silly - we were good kids, but perhaps more interested in socializing than higher education. For each of us, that changed (a bit) as we matured, and moved into our lives of partners, children and jobs.
