Loren "Laurie" Simonson

I was sad to hear of my uncle Loren/Laurie Simonson's passing. Sadly, I was out of the country when he died and missed his funeral. I hadn't seen much of Laurie in my adulthood, following my grandmother Emma Reese Simonson's funeral. Emma was the glue that kept us all in touch, She maintained her free spirit and took turns visiting and living near each one of us, her kids and grandkids, keeping us all in touch, until she reunited with our patriarch at Winnipeg's Brookside cemetery. Laurie's passing is a sad day for all who knew him, he was a great guy.
