I hope Loren and Jim see each other up there Georgia George

May your memory be eternal! Georgia George

I never met Loren. I am writing to thank the family for the courage to acknowledge that Loren had the courage to choose to not eat and drink in order to hasten his dealth. Thank you for helping others to realize they have a choice to not suffer needless at the end of life. Peter Vennewitz, Portland, Oregon

Dear Judy,
We had hoped to express our condolences to you on Loren's passing at the celebration yesterday, but we were unable to attend due to a last minute family commitment.
Loren was a good friend of many years and we will miss him.
All the best to you and your family.
Jim and Georgia George

Richard, in memory of the loss of your dear brother, and of your dear wife Margaret in 2009, am sending a donation to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. to support finding a cure.

I was very much saddened to learn of Loren's death. I first met Loren in the 1980's when I was working at Tri-Met and he was on the Board of Directors. His stewardship on the Board was instrumental in the successful implementation of the Region's first Light Rail Line to Gresham. Whenever our paths would cross he would always share a fond rememberance from those Tri-Met days. Loren was a true statesman, and I can't help but feel proud for having had the opportunity to know and work with...

Judy & Family -- We're sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

The alumni of Harvard College and Harvard Business School enjoyed many years of Loren's fellowship and support for scholarships and community service. His example continues to inspire new generations of alumni. We miss him and extend our best wishes to his family.
