My name is Cecilia Mafla-Bustamante. I was an exchange student from Ecuador in 1970 and lived in the Crofts home in Arroyo Grande, CA. for three months. Mom, as I used to call her was a kind and loving "mother" to me. She taught me how to cook, how to sew, and made me feel part of the family. We kept in touch for 50 years after that. I am glad I was able to visit her many times in California and in South Carolina. I will always remember her with love and gratitude.
