Not sure what to say?

I've always felt that it takes a very special person to work with children and I admired Lorena for doing that. After attending her service yesterday, I thought about how many other people felt the same way. Even though I didn't know her very well, I feel privilaged to have met someone as great as Lorena.

I was a student at Mint Valley from Kindergarten to 4th grade and Mrs. Gore was always a really nice lady! The students always enjoyed seeing her out on recess. She was really good with the kids and we were all shocked when we heard what happened. I hope that the family can recover. I'm really sorry.

To the family of Lorena Gore. I have known Lorena for many years. We went to school together. I also worked with Lorena at Mint Valley School. She was a very sweet lady who always had the kids best interest at heart. My own children (Whitney and Kramer Street) remember her as being the kindest of all playground teachers. This is going to be a very difficult time for everyone, especially the family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you always! Patty Street and Family
