Not sure what to say?

Dear Family,
We are sorry for your loss. My brother Roger Lavelle and I lived behind the house on Carabel. We lived on Olive avenue in Lakewood. The thing I remember most is the Monopoly games played during the summer and also sleeping out in our backyards with Bonnie. It's been a very long time.
Our prayers and sympathy to all of you.

My wife Barb and I were short term residents at The Meredian 89-92. Barb passed away in 99 but, I can still hear her saying,"Lorena are you still working on those plants?" Lorena would always reply, "this isn't work to me"
God bless her--she was a vibrant soul and an indefatigable gardener.

Dear Family: I too was an early resident of Meridian. I remember a spaniel named Spot, who lived across the hall from Lorena. One day he ran into her apartment with his male owner chasing. Lorena's mother was visiting, and Lorena was naked from the shower, when the owner, a young gay man ran in. Mom started to scream. As the owner left with Spot, he called over his shoulder, "It's O.K. - Lorena, tell her about me." I haven't seen her in 25 years, but I'll miss her.

We are so sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman. Marilou, always remember that Lorena truly lived the "dash". I have so many great memories of times at the lake, rides to and from Kent, visits at the Meridien. Always, she treated me as if I had been a part of her family forever. Ken remembers the ride to the airport after Matthew and Amanda's wedding. They talked all the way like great old friends! She had a knack for making everyone feel important. And she leaves that legacy behind in...
