RICHFORD – Lorena L. King, age 99, widow of Adolphus A. King, passed away Sunday August 22, 2004 at her home.

She was born January 23, 1905 in Richford the daughter of the late Gaspard & Roseanna (Delisle) Fecteau.

She was a life long resident of Richford & Berkshire attended All Saints Catholic Church in Richford. Along with her husband they owned and operated a dairy farm in Berkshire. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and tatting.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis Waterhouse and her husband Robert, Hollis King and his wife Arlene, Betty King, and Mary Goddard all of Richford; 1 sister, Lillian Brown of Hudson, NH; 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Adolphus A. King in 1981; her siblings, Delmira Paxman, Henry Fecteau, Caroline Armstrong, Alfred Fecteau, Salina Paxman, Edith Fecteau, Beatrice Martin & Margaret Thebodeau.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon August 25, 2004 at 2:00 at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will follow in the Richford Center Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 1:00 pm until the hour of the funeral.
