Lorena Mae (Seraly) Serraglia, 93, of Finleyville, died Friday, July 8, 2016 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born October 23, 1922 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Samuel and Victoria Baker Clark.
Lorena retired after thirty years of employment as a nurse's aid from Mayview State Hospital. In her younger years, she had resided in Virginia for a short time. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there, especially working as an assistant manager at G.E.M. (Government Employees Merchandise). A devoted mother and quite a proper lady, Lorena loved spending time with her family, as well as dancing and singing.
She is survived by three sons, Claude "Jimmy" Gilbert and wife Randeen of Las Vegas, NV, Raymond Gilbert and wife Karen of Midland, VA, George Gilbert and wife Nanette of Monongahela; daughter, Vicki Ammon of West Columbia, SC; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; brother, Arthur Clark and wife Dorothy of Greensburg; brother-in-law, Gary Seraly and wife Ruthann of Venetia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Gilbert who died June 10, 1988; her second husband, Guido Anthony Serraglia who died December 2, 2003; two sons, Cass and Jack Gilbert; daughter, Linda Dean; and two brothers, Ellsworth and Ike Clark.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Alan Morrison officiating. Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery, Finleyville.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. It's been years since I saw Guido and Renie. They were both fantastic people. I just moved back to this area. May God be with you through your time of sorrow and always and give you peace.
