Not sure what to say?

Lorena and Al were a huge welcoming factor for me at Trinity Lutheran Church in Urbana while I was a student there in the late 80's and early 90's. In fact I was reminded of them today as 30 years ago yesterday, they were kind enough to come and pick me up from my apartment as I was not able to drive due to a recent surgery. Always fond memories come to mind regarding this fine couple. Grateful to have known them, and worshipped our Lord and Savior with them!

Dear family: My late husband(Morris Hunter) and I became acquainted with Al and Lorena when Hunter Lumber Company of Ogden built their Urbana home. We became personal friends with them and enjoyed many dinner-bridge evenings together. I will surely miss both of them. My condolences to their family. Marilyn Hunter-Shimkus

She gave us copies of some children's books by Zim, "The First Book...

Zim books she helped edit, and part of Volume 1 of "Our Wonderful World." I have an autographed copy of the hardback edition of Zim's Golden Nature Guides Series on Birds. It was autographed in 1954.

She and my mother were in the same bridge club for many years. We missed them when they moved to Las cruces, NM, but they...
