I had the pleasure to work with Ozzie both as a firefighter and for a while on our off days. Ozzie was assigned to the Naval Base Norfolk as the Fire Chief. He came on the ship I was assigned to (USS Canisteo AO-99) to do an inspection. I was Officer Of The Deck at that time. I was really surprised to see him. The Navy meant a lot to Ozzie. My deepest condolences to his dear wife and family .

I worked with Ozzie at Dante Valve company, Ozzie was a well-rounded and respected man, set in his own way.?i enjoyed working with him we are going to miss you.

He was a real nice Guy. He will be miss by Bodie and me.
