Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Mark, as we called her, was my English teacher my junior year and we loved her. Bright, incisive, inviting us to live up to our best potential, she was a stand out among my many teachers. She influenced a generation of us to stand a little taller. My love, Maurine Jensen Proctor

Greg and Diane, we're so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Midvale Junior High and HHS were so fortunate to have such a wonderful teacher. It takes a special gift to teach and command a room the way she did, and she made it look so easy! I think I worked with you for 10 years before I knew who your Mom was! You guys take care, Frank and Laura Montoya

So sorry for your loss.

A wonderful teacher, a beautiful mother, a sweet sister, a kind aunt, and a special friend. Lorene will be missed by many. I will always remember her cute laugh, fun personality, enjoyment of life, and the care she gave to others. I send my love and deepest sympathy. Forever hugs, Lorene. I will always remember you with love.

We remember Mrs. Mark as a beautiful woman inside and out. We were so fortunate to have her as a teacher, mentor and friend. We will love and miss her always.

Any ability I have to write well I can trace back to her. I still cringe when I split an infinitive. RIP Mrs. Mark.

Not a day goes by that I don't use many, many of the English skills Mrs. Mark instilled in me.

Mrs. Mark had absolutely the greatest impact on my use of the English language, both in writing and in speech. It's been 36 years since she taught me and I still frequently recognize that I say and write things the way I do because of her. Few people can be so impactful to so many.
