Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Prewitt was a wonderful teacher at Bradfield Elementary. 3rd grade was very memorable and full of fun field trips! My condolences to everyone near and far, blessed to be related as family, friend, or student. Thank you, Mrs. Prewitt.

Lorene was a fabulous first grade teacher. She was extremely creative and brought joy to children for many many years. She would often substitute in my classroom at Armstrong and always engaged my students with hats and plays! She will be missed by all.

Dear Bob and family,
I'm saddened to learn of Lorene's passing. I only learned of it last night.
It sounds like things progressed pretty quickly at the end. I think she wouldn't want to lie around even at 90.

I loved my long distance cousin, even if we didn't chat or write often in the past several years.

I know there is a big void to fill in your lives. As just will be missed terribly by family and friends.

I remember your trip to Indiana and the tour of...

Among her accomplishments she was also the author of " Wheeler-Bond and Related Families" it is the genealogy of the Wheelers and the Bonds back to 1620 in England. I have used her book as a starting point in continuing the genealogy of the Bond family. Lavania Bond Cook

Bob, My sympathy and condolences in your loss of Lorene. Better than most, I understand having suffered the loss of my wife.

Mrs. Prewitt was my second grade teacher during 67-68. I remember her as being very kind. My sincere condolences to her family.

Bradfield Faculty 82-83

Mrs. Prewitt was a dear lady and a good friend to my mother, who passed away earlier this year. Both were members of the SMU Women's Club, and taught at Bradfield Elementary. I've attached a group photo of Bradfield teachers, and Mrs. Prewitt is on the back row on the right side, between Betty Thomas and my mom.

Lorene and I met in 1946 when she and Bob moved to Dallas from Indiana as newlyweds. My husband Edward and I had recently married that same year, and our close friendship with the Prewitt family has endured and strengthened through the years. We shared many wonderful times together that have become fond memories. Lorene was a precious friend, and I send my warmest love and condolences to her entire family.

Mrs. Prewitt taught me in 2nd grade at Bradfield in 1965-66. She was a wonderful teacher, who proved that great teachers are remembered and appreciated for a lifetime by their students.
