Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Simpson, Gail and Lorenzo,
I share with you, many fond memories of our"neighborhood" on East Pembroke Ave and the special way your husband&father was one of my "neighborhood Dads" who always reminded me(and my brothers) to be the "best that I can be". I share your sadness and deeply understand your pain.I lost my father in September but do treasure the thought that they have reunited once again. My prayers go out to you and your family.

Mrs Simpson,
Our thoughts and prayers go out you and the family in the loss of such a wonderful man. Bessie Ruth, as all of the folks on Marshall Ave, Newport News called you, we feel you pain, but we know that he is in a better place with God. I worked with Lorenzo at Y.H. Thomas and he mentored me as the Personnel Director for the School Board. We will for forever remember his beautiful life.
Love,
Clarence Braxton

Mrs. Simpson, Lorenzo and Gail,
We are so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. We know that this is not an easy journey. Just remember that "although his ship has sailed from view, does not mean the journey's end, only that the river bends.

Love and may God grant you peace,
Marion Vassar & Darrilyn

Love you.

It has been many years since Jack and Jill Kindergarten, yet I still remember the family. You have my deepest sympathy and prayers. God knows best when to reap His harvest. Cherish those special moments you had together.

I was a second year teacher with Mr. Simpson at the old Willis school. He was a mentor, and I owe much of my success in my 34 year career to him. He began each year with a prayer which sustained us all. He was a champion for his students and his teachers. We all loved him.
