Sunrise July 7, 1957, Sunset October 23, 2009. Passed unexpectedly, leaving loved ones shocked and deeply saddened. Our Loretta was born into a military family and lived in over a dozen childhood homes. She felt fortunate to be a service "brat" and have so many amazing experiences such as spaceship launches rattling her bedroom window, horseback riding on the beaches of France, bullfights in Spain, weekend skiing jaunts to the Italian-Swiss Alps, exploring medieval castles, and even a safe evacuation from her dorm in Munich during the 1972 Olympics takeover. Her many great adventures shaped her into the caring, connected, giving person she became. Loretta graduated Galileo High School (S.F.) in 1975, and College of Marin, 1977. She retired from Sonoma County DSS after many years as an Eligibility Worker/Fraud Tech. Loretta met the Love of her Life, Mike Beach, cruising Fourth Street and married him March 31, 1979, celebrating 30 happy years this Spring. In 1998, after a 19-year honeymoon Loretta and Mike gave birth to the purest form of their love and named her Jessica Nicole. Loretta lived every fiber of her being for her beloved Jessica. Jessie was the light of Loretta's life and despite chronic severe pain from advanced Lyme disease, Loretta fully enjoyed volunteering at Jessie's school, and supported her blossoming karate talents in every way possible. Loretta also found great joy in family gatherings, roller-blading, computers, Hawaii, music, photography, driving her Camero, reading, Snoopy, Hi-Chews, Laughter, and Life. She was the acting President of The Carousel Network. Besides Jessica and Mike, she leaves behind her heart-broken mother Joan Persichilli, her much beloved sisters Marisa McCrea (Mike), Pauline Persichilli (Diana); her mom-in-law Carolyn Beach-Paviglianititititi; her loving sisters-in-law Susie Adlawan (Terry), Sharon Osthimer (Terry); and many adoring nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her much beloved Dad Benny; and her loving fathers-in-law Eddie and Tony. Graveside services private, but please join her family in a Celebration of her Life on Saturday October 31, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Jack London Elementary School, 2707 Francisco Avenue, Santa Rosa. Please bring a story to share and if you wish, in lieu of flowers please make a contribution in Jessica Beach's name at any Exchange Bank for the Loretta Beach Memorial Fund for Jessica's Education. LaLa left us far too soon and we will miss her forever and cradle her in our hearts always. Aloha, LaLa! Adobe Creek Funeral Home, 331 Lakeville, Petaluma 789-9000.

Not sure what to say?

Hello
I am saddened to hear the news of Loretta's death. I was her friend whilst we lived in Oberammergau in early 70's.
with the ease of the internet, I had decided to try and research some very old friends. Loretta had been someone I looked up to and would very much have liked to get in touch again.
So sorry I missed the opportunity.
My regards to all the family,
Shelna Sinte

Dear Mike and Jessica,

I miss Loretta's smile and positive attitude. I'm grateful that I got to know her through our work together for the Carousel Network. Your wife/mom stepped up and kept TCN going when it looked like there was no one to run things. She put energy into getting speakers and keeping us organized even when she didn't have much energy because of Lyme disease. TCN is an ongoing organization because of her.

Loretta and both of you are in my thoughts every day.

Mike, I am very sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences to you and your family. May God grant you peace in your time of sorrow, and may He help you find comfort through your memories. God Bless.........Dave Boitos

Dear Mike and Jessica,

It was such a pleasure living next door to your family and the conversations I would have with Loretta when we happened to be outside at the same time. She was a very smart and caring woman. The loving relationship she had with Jessica was so great. I will say many prayers for your family.

Mike and Jessica,
My heart is with you through this difficult time. I have been thinking of you, Jessica and Loretta since I spoke with you the other day. I always enjoyed talking with Loretta when she came into the office and will miss her greatly. As I told you the other day - please call if you need anything or just need to talk.

God Bless you and Jessica
