Not sure what to say?

While I did not know Mrs. Castellano, I have had the pleasure of meeting several of her children and grandchildren. Their gracious and kind manner is a Castellano heritage and a gift to all who have the good fortune to know them.

I attended Our Lady of the Valley School in Orange, NJ, and was a friend of Lorrie's. I remember walking home from school and spending fun times at the family home in West Orange. Seeing Mrs. Castellano's death notice in the paper reminds me of those happy days of long ago. My prayers at this time to this wonderful family.

So sorry to hear of Cleo's death. I remember the last time I saw her - I was visiting her in Manahawkin with my Dad and she was very happily showing us the book all of you had put together for her birthday. She leaves a wonderful legacy - all of you should be very proud.

I am so sad to hear this. A lovely person. Condolences to her wonderful family. Toni Rachiele

name-grace marie (castellano) mcgrath. mary jo was my closest friend at st francis xavier. in 6th grade, i asked mrs castellano to be my confirmation sponsor. i remember joining the family for dinners and i always felt welcomed. i kept in touch with mrs castellano for years even after she moved to texas. i remember her as a warm and loving person. i also remember when her baby son was born and i wondered how he fit in with all the girls. i also remember loretta when she worked at CCS...

I am so sorry to hear this news. Cleo had such a wonderful spirit and joy about her. I know you will miss her. One of my memories is of shopping with her at a Farmer's Market in Palo Alto. I was so impressed at how she could select the best produce. I am certainly glad I had that opportunity to spend a day with her and you in LBJ a few years ago.

My love to all of you at this sad time.
