Loretta Mary Edwards

The family of the late Loretta Edwards (nee Myles) are very sad to announce her sudden passing at her daughter's home in Faber, Virginia, age 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband and best friend of 52 years, Richard "Ed" Edward's. Also leaving with sad and empty hearts are daughters Peggy Myers and husband, Greg, of Columbus, Ohio, Debbie Banfield, C.B.S, NL, Canada, Tammy Edwards and Mike Downey of Fort McMurray, AB Canada, Jodie Edwards of Faber, Virginia, and Shelly Edwards of Waco, Texas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Scott and husband, Tom, of St. Bernard's, NL; brother, Billy Jim Myles and wife, Margaret, of St. Bernard's, NL; aunts and uncles in Newfoundland and many special nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Christina; baby sister, Vivian; and parents Austin and Florence Myles. A memorial service is being held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lovingston, Virginia, 2 p.m. Monday April 9, 2012. Cremation will follow and remains will be laid to rest in her hometown of St. Bernard's, NL Canada at a later date.
