Loretta "Lori" Eisner, nee Petak, age 68, beloved wife of the late Warren; loving mother of Cheryl, Robert (Joy Coleman) and Leonard (Lori) Eisner; cherished Ama of Corey, Chandler and Josh; beloved twin sister of Sharon (Robert) Fein; fond sister- in-law of Helene (late Phil) Eisner; dear aunt and great-aunt of many nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Ave., #1210, Chicago, IL 60601. Service Friday, 1:30 p.m. at the Weinstein Funeral Home, 111 Skokie blvd., Wilmette Chapel. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge. For info: 847-256-5700

We will miss Ama. All her children, grandchildren and daughter-in-laws love her very much. We will look at pictures, tell stories and watch home videos of Ama....we wil never forget the love she showed all of us.

Lori was a wonderful,thoughtful and lovely person. I worked with her for 2 1/2 months as her caregiver and she showed me kindness. She will be missed but never to forget.

Our hearts go out to Lori's family, and to Sharon's family. My Sister Betty Menkin would always tell me what a wonderful, hospitable, beautiful person Lori was. We too are very saddened and we will always remember her in our hearts.

We will miss Lori;she was a very warm, lovely person who was always interested in hearing about what was happening in other peoples' lives, and loved talking about her wonderful children and grandchildren. Lori and Warren were wonderful friends. We will miss them.

God's gift of time
we all need a time to grieve - quiet time for reflection to sift through memories and come to grips with what has happened. we all need a time for tears, not for the one who is now at peace in heaven, but for ourselves as we realize that things will never be the same. we all need a time to just "be" when we can open ourselves to God and let the reassurance of His everlasting love start to heal our broken hearts. praying for you and wishing you peace.
