Not sure what to say?

I am saddened by her passing. I will always remember her cheerfulness and indomitable spirit. She had been very helpful to me while I was in college and medical school- sending me necessities which she could procured at a lower price from the PX. The information from this obituary only enhanced my respect for Loretta who had always been so kind to our family. She should be proud that she had raised such wonderful children. On this occasion, I would be remiss by not mentioning the kindness...

Dear, dear Tom, Tia, Ted & Tina, Your parents have been my role models since my teens. While attending graduate school at Georgetown, Lee & Loretta treated me like family. Fond memories & gratitude linger. I was, and still am, so sad that Lee sacrificed his life to serve his country at such a young age. The undertaking of bringing up 4 young children single-handedly was indeed most challenging! But, Loretta succeeded with flying colours. I am honoured to be associated with such a fine...

Deepest condolences. She is a tribute to tremendous accomplishment and testimony to resilience and perseverance. God Bless her and God Bless and keep the entire James family in his Grace. May they all be blessed with strength to continue in their mother's strong legacy as they mourn such a profound loss. Sending prayers and kind thoughts. Avis Watts - Mighty Gulf Coast Region - with gratitude for Tina James and the testimony she is daily to her mother's legacy.

Tom, so sorry to hear this news. My memory of your Mother was when we were in college and used to go down to her restaurant in DC and she made the most amazing food for anyone that came with you !! She had a wonderful life, and has a wonderful family. My deepest sympathies to the James family.

Dear Loretta, how sad I am to lose such a close loving friend. We shared so many times of happiness and grief, able to hold each other against the odds. I have so many memories of her remarkable perceptions of people.
I could be gullible and she would enlighten me. My heart is full of love for all the James family. She is always in my prayers.

Tina, what an incredible life well lived. She leaves a wonderful legacy through you and your siblings. Thoughts and prayers sent to you and your family.

TJ, May you find peace, comfort & strength during this difficult time. Your mom lived an incredible life and leaves a wonderful legacy. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

I feel like I have gotten to know Tina's mother over time, with the stories and life lessons Tina has shared on many occasions. What an inspirational woman, and how lucky she was to have children who held her in such high regard and who will carry on her formidable legacy. My thoughts are with the entire James family.
